About the Sarees

Are the colors same as the photos?
Yes. Every saree is photographed in natural daylight. No filters, no editing tricks — what you see is exactly what you'll receive.

Are these handwoven?
Yes. Every Pallu Pallu saree is hand-woven by master weavers in Varanasi using traditional Banarasi techniques passed down generations.

What fabric are your sarees made of?
Most are pure Banarasi silk. A few (like Gulabi Noor) are Banarasi cotton silk — softer drape, lighter feel. Each product page lists the exact fabric.

Is the blouse piece included?
Yes — every saree comes with an unstitched blouse piece (0.8m). You can stitch it to your preferred design.

Will the silk shrink after wash?
Pure Banarasi silk should be dry cleaned only. Following this care guide, it will not shrink and will last for decades — a true heirloom.

How do I care for my saree?
Dry clean only. Store folded with a muslin cloth. Re-fold every 6 months to prevent crease lines. Avoid direct sunlight and damp areas.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does delivery take?
We ship within 24 hours from Varanasi. Most Indian cities receive your saree in 4-7 business days.

Do you ship across India?
Yes — we deliver pan-India.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Free shipping on all orders, no minimum.

Will I get a tracking number?
Yes. As soon as your order ships, you'll receive an SMS and email with tracking details.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept UPI, all major credit/debit cards, net banking, and Cash on Delivery (COD).

Do you offer Cash on Delivery?
Yes. COD is available across India with zero additional charges. Just select COD at checkout.

Is my payment secure?
Yes. We use 256-bit SSL encryption and our checkout is processed via Shopify's secure payment gateway.

Returns & Exchange

What's your return policy?
Easy returns within 7 days of delivery. Free return pickup. Refund within 3-5 business days of return receipt.

Can I exchange for a different saree?
Yes — easy exchange within 7 days. Free pickup. The new piece ships once we receive the return.

What if my saree arrives damaged?
Contact us immediately at hello@pallupallu.in or WhatsApp us. We'll arrange a free pickup and full replacement.

Are sale items returnable?
Yes — same return policy applies to all products.

Sizing

What size is your saree?
All sarees are Free Size — 5.5 meters of fabric. The drape works for any height between 5'0\" to 6'0\".

Will the blouse fit me?
The blouse piece is unstitched (0.8m of fabric) — your tailor will stitch it to your exact measurements.

Do you have a physical store?
Not yet — we're an online-only D2C brand, which lets us pass on better prices to you while paying weavers more.
